"The Madonna Lift" Fractional Eyelift Procedure

Patients have been seeking an effective alternative to traditional eyelift surgery for many years. Working with fractional CO2 technology previously used for laser resurfacing treatments, a new fractional eyelift procedure, "The Madonna Lift" has been developed as a safe and effective alternative to traditional eyelid surgery.
Since receiving FDA clearance in 2004, fractional laser resurfacing has benefited millions of patients. The Madonna Lift promises to increase that number.
Fractional CO2 works by using laser beam-like columns, targeting a very specific area while leaving surrounding tissue intact. These beams eradicate damaged fibers in the skin and encourage new tissue with fresh elasticity to grow back in its place. Because the whole of the skin is not affected, healing is quick and far less painful than other procedures.
The Madonna fractional eyelift dramatically reduces the appearance of dark circles and eye wrinkles, tightens upper and lower eyelid skin, and helps to elevate drooping eyebrows. It has a number of the benefits of a surgical eyelift without the risks and downtime. The only problem it is unable to address is bulging fat pads.
Metal eye shields are used during treatment to protect a patient's eyes from injury. The only anesthesia needed for the procedure is a numbing cream that is applied to the eyelids; as a result, downtime is minimal.
A recent study of fractional eyelifts involving more than 100 participants showed dramatic and consistent results. In order to achieve the best results from the Madonna Lift, between three and five sessions, delivered at two to three week intervals are recommended.

The Mechanics of Celebrity - Madonna, John Wayne Bobbitt and Susan Boyle

It's an interesting illusion that Madonna, John Wayne Bobbitt and Susan Boyle can be mentioned together in the same sentence. But, I have found a way. The mechanics of celebrity is the issue that can bring just about any three celebrity names together in the same sentence.
There are several ways in this world to become a celebrity. Not everyone who has graced a tabloid has followed the same set of rules. In fact, rules are pretty much out of the question.  Madonna, John Wayne Bobbitt and Susan Boyle are each great examples of the fact that rules are indeed out of the question.
I could have mentioned any number of celebrities here. But, I have chosen these three because of the extreme natures of their back stories. The way they each came to celebrity status are so different in nature that they are the perfect examples for my expanse.
Everyone knows who Madonna is and what she's up to these days. She has been a mogul for years and by most probable standards will stay on that level of stardom for the rest of her life. She will be remembered long after her passing much like that of Jerry, Kurt and Elvis.
You might argue that Madonna could never be on the same level with the likes of Jerry Garcia and Elvis Presley. But if you think about what I'm saying you'll be able to see that despite the arguable differences, Madonna will be remembered. That in itself is comparable to any great you stack up against her.
Years ago, a rising star out of New York, she had what it takes to make it in the music industry. She had talent and ideas. She was a trend setter, not only in music but also in fashion. She is a beautiful woman. But, there are so many beautiful women who know music and have great ideas who don't make it. How is it that Madonna made it through?
She used sex appeal. She did outrageous things in the public eye that still are used as icons today. Her outrageous bra is just one example of the way comedians and impersonators like to portray her. You can have blond hair and you can talk with a Brooklyn accent. But if you put your hair back in a pony tail and wear cones over your breasts, you're suddenly recognized as doing Madonna. And Madonna has been enjoying that for years. Millions of teenagers used to dress like her back in the 80s. She's big because she makes herself big. She brings it large and that's one way to celebrity.
John Wayne Bobbitt is a celebrity for another reason. You might argue that John Wayne Bobbitt is no celebrity. But, mention his name in a room and mostly everyone will know the story. It was outrageous. It caught national attention. I'm not saying that you should have your wife cut your male member and throw it out along the highway. But, that kind of outrageous behavior is what puts people on the map.
Celebrities like Steve-O and Paris Hilton eat into that every day. Think about it! What is Steve-O's talent? Is he a member of a band? Is he an actor in the movies? No, he is a Jackass. Part of the crew who lights bottle rockets out of their butts and sick alligators on their moms. Bam Margera once cut the top out of a Lamborghini just to make Billy Idol happy. That's a jackass.
Speaking of which, who is Paris Hilton by the way? Is she a singer? Is she an actress? Well, it can be argued that she is both of those as well as having a few other significant celebrity titles. But, her celebrity came with being an heiress to the Hilton hotel chain. She has rubbed elbows with celebrities all her life and found herself in the spotlight along with them regardless of the fact that she wasn't actually a talent among them. So, finding yourself in the spotlight regardless of any talent you may or may not have is another way to break through the glass ceiling known as celebrity.
That brings us to Susan Boyle. She is the mark of a different kind of celebrity. She was given a moment and she completely knocked us on our butts. Everyone in the audience of Britain's Got Talent was chuckling. The judges were skeptical. But, she opened up and out of her mouth came her beautiful rendition of I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables.  Simon Cowell's expression was priceless and when you see Simon Cowell genuinely surprised, you know you have really nailed something right.
Rumors are flying. One exciting rumor is that there might be a movie deal and Catherine Zeta Jones wants to play her role. I saw a pole taken on a top celebrity news broadcast that asked the audience whether Susan Boyle had surpassed Brangelina in celebrity status. It wasn't a majority, but a significant number of voters thought that she had indeed surpassed the power team couple.
Now, what is that? That's fifteen minutes of fame for all the right reasons. She has a talent and was able to catch the world's attention when she was given her moment. Eminem talks about choking at a moment like that in his song "Lose Yourself." Susan Boyle lost herself. She owned it and she didn't let it go.

Britney and Madonna Kiss Video

During the awarding ceremony for the MTV Music Video Awards, Madonna stunned the audience when she kissed Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears during their performance.
The three singers sung the song Like a Virgin and Hollywood as a tribute for the queen of pop music, Madonna.
The kissing of the trio stole the attention of all the people gathered to witness the awarding. Instead of the winners of the awards, the headlines were focused on the spectacular Madonna and Britney kissing.
The incident received a lot of publicity from the regular newspaper, entertainment magazines, TV and the internet. Several photos and videos of the sensational kissing were published all over the papers including the internet. Several TV stations have replayed the video several times.
Though some people don't care about it but some criticized the incident as something immoral. Many parents are also concern on the impact it might bring to their children since many teenagers idolized Britney Spears.
Websites which featured the Britney and Madonna kiss video received tremendously heavy traffic by many internet users. It was considered as one of the most viewed video soon as it reached the internet.
According to media people who have witnessed the show, Britney Spears former boyfriend Timberlake who was also present during the awarding was also surprised. Timberlake was also awarded that night with Best Male Video, Best Pop Video and Best Dance Video awards for his song Cry Me a River.
According to Britney, the kissing was Madonna's idea and it was alright for her.

80s Fashion and Fancy Dress - How to Get the 80s Madonna Look!

Ahhh the 80s Madonna look! Who doesn't want to give this a go? Actually it wouldn't surprise me if this style comes back even.
Think sexy and busty tops.
Then, add lace.. your lacey bra is quite acceptable.
Bonus points if you find a mesh shirt.
If it's cold, wear a denim jacket.
Find some leggings to wear under a short skirt.
Now, buy a pair of fingerless lace gloves. You probably will have to buy these online. Awesome mesh and lace fingerless gloves are available through the accessories section of the 80s Fashion Fancy Dress site. Click on the link towards the bottom of the page below.
And go treasure hunting for plenty of 80s Madonna fashion accessories. Wear a couple of necklaces if you can. Include large crosses and strings of fake pearls. (More than one is okay)
To be sure you have done well with the 80s Madonna fashion, you need bracelets. Plenty of bracelets. The last time I checked you could get a pack of 10 or so slim, silver bracelets from the $2 shop, or a little bit extra in the fashion jewellery stores. If you can, get the rubber bracelets too.
Especially if you can find the black ones that looked like o ring seals from 44 gallon drums.
We used to wear those all the time in the 80s. It was absolute treasure to find a 44 gallon drum that still had one. I remember my step mum telling me that one day I would look back and laugh at how we used to wear them. Of course, she is right!
Have your right earring more dangley than your left. A dangley cross would be pretty much perfect. Don't forget to mismatch your earrings.
Make sure you include a big belt, as Madonna loved them. Find a wide belt with spikes, bright colours and maybe even a big buckle.
Shoes are pretty easy. Wear whatever you want. Madonna wore plenty of dance shoes, which seemed quite sensible. Make sure you wear cute socks with them though, or wear high cut boots.
Hair should be big,a few curls and teased and with a big lace bow. You can cheat with the bow as a headband look these days, as there are headbands with bows to the side, in all of your fashion jewellery stores too.
Have fun with getting your 80s Madonna look created. Like I've said before, looking for your clothes and accessories can be half of the fun. (Or half of the nightmare - lol)
With your makeup, make sure you pile on plenty of eyeliner, and use a dark red lippy. Ooops, don't forget your beauty spot! (Use black or brown eyeliner to create your beauty spot)
I would have to say, that I did not know anyone who took on this 80s Madonna look, fashion cone bra look for themselves. You might've known someone though..
Anyway, I reckon if you wore this to an 80s fancy dress, people would know who you are trying to be. I just do not know how to get the costume sorted easily, as I am pretty sure you do not have a cone bra in your cupboard.
I guess you could be creative, and use disposable cones (like you get the cordial ice cones in, which you could attach onto your bra. Hmm or get creative with coffee filters? Otherwise, you may have to hire or buy this particular costume.
Deni Griffiths loved growing up in the 80s, and is thrilled to see 80s influences, sneak back into fashion. It has happened steadily over the naughties. As we move into the tweenie teenies, there is evidence in music clips, magazines and movies, that it's cool to have a fun and zany taste in fashion. Some commentators have put this down to the gloom of the financial crisis, and they may be right.
Also, most of you would have heard about 80s themed parties by now. They are very popular, probably due to the really cool music, and fancy dress fun you can have. Are you hosting or attending an 80s fancy dress party?

Why the Macrobiotic Diet Works For Madonna and How You Could Achieve the Same Success

If you've ever seen Madonna perform, you can't help noticing that she has a figure and a level of fitness that many women half her age might envy. As a professional performer, it's important for her to maintain her figure and her level of energy, which she pours into her dancing.
But Madonna's interest goes beyond the requirements of her career -- she takes a very personal interest in health and fitness, and has adopted a health-conscious lifestyle that includes yoga, strength training, and a macrobiotic diet. She credits the macrobiotic diet she follows for much of the robust good health she enjoys. Why does it work so well for her and could you achieve the same success?
First understand that the macrobiotic diet is not simply designed as a weight-loss program, but rather is one part of a total wellness philosophy that draws from Far East traditions and longevity teachings. The diet does not prescribe a strict regimen of foods, but emphasizes maintaining a balance of foods, grown organically and served fresh. It also recommends eating meals in a slow, relaxed manner.
About half of the foods consumed in a macrobiotic diet consist of whole grains; these are supplemented with vegetables (cooked or raw), and smaller amounts of beans, fish, nuts, fruits, and seeds. Processed foods such as sugar and white flour are avoided, as are meats and dairy products.
If you are interested in losing weight, is the macrobiotic diet an effective option to consider? Many practitioners do find it much easier to achieve and maintain a lower weight. In fact, some find it a challenge to consume sufficient calories under this diet. They also need to take care to obtain the necessary nutrients that are normally supplied by meats and dairy products, such as calcium, iron, and the B vitamins (especially Vitamin B12), and may need to take supplements to avoid serious nutritional deficiencies. If these cautions are observed, the macrobiotic diet can be one path to achieving a healthier weight.
Madonna made a conscious choice to adopt the macrobiotic diet as part of a lifestyle of overall wellness. And this is the real root of her success story: health is a high priority for her, and she found a way to bring all of the elements of her lifestyle into alignment with her health and fitness goals. Her success began in her mind. As you formulate your weight-loss strategy, it's essential to turn your focus on your mental habits and priorities.
Whatever dietary plan you might choose to follow, it's your mind that will be the critical factor in your success. Macrobiotic is an amazingly healthy diet that works brilliantly for Madonna. It works because it is totally congruent with her outlook on life. Why not try thinking more like Madonna in her attitude to health and exercise and then diet success might follow as easily. Just use her as your model.

What Is Split Testing? Let Madonna and Lady Gaga Explain

This article will explain what is split testing is with the help of two of pop music's most popular divas. Although there seems to be no obvious link between your website's sales and these singers, there is an interesting parallel there.
Understanding this parallel will enable you to increase the ROI of any sales page without doing any extra marketing.
Madonna has reigned supreme over the world of pop for the last 30 years, not only with her catchy songs but her numerous image reinventions. However, it's now clear that someone is stealing her crown: Lady Gaga. While we still marvel at Madonna's fitness and showmanship, nothing can top a meat dress for sheer outlandishness. The younger singer connects with her fans (or 'monsters' as she affectionately calls them) in a way that Madonna never has.
While Madonna has gone through many image makeovers in her career, Lady Gaga seems to reinvent herself every month. Yet Madonna wins on longevity every time. She was making hit records long before Lady G was even born - songs that we still play today.
So what is split testing, and what have these singers got to do with it?
This form of testing is where you create 2 or more versions of a webpage. Version 1 will differ from version 2 - you then measure which version gives you the best sales, most sign ups (or whatever the criteria for success that you have for that particular webpage).
There are 2 types of split testing to be aware of:
A/B Split testing is where you just want to test one element of your webpage: for example in your headline, will the phrase "Double Your Profits" bring in more customers than "Improve Your Profits"?
It contrasts with multivariate testing, which is where you test multiple elements of the webpage: so you might alter not just the headline, but the leading image, the font, the layout...the list goes on. So version 2 of your webpage might look radically different to version 1. Not so with split testing - in the example above only the word 'Improve' would change.
We can look at A/B split testing as Madonna and multivariate testing as Lady Gaga.
Madonna's image changes are relatively well-paced and laboriously orchestrated (say to coincide with a new album: think dirty chic for Ray Of Light in 1998 or disco diva for Confessions On A Dancefloor). In this way they resemble split testing.
Lady Gaga's image changes seem far more chaotic (although they, too are probably very well planned) - she's wearing a telephone on her head one minute, and a self flaming bra the next. Just like a webpage in a multivariate test, one image change can look drastically different to the next.
The $64,000 question is: which is better? A/B testing or multivariate?
The answer is that it depends - the two have very different functions.
Use A/B split testing when you want to know why one headline (or layout, or image etc) outperforms another. You can then apply this knowledge to other sales pages - you might well find that you always get a higher ROI with "Double" rather than "Improve" in your headline.
Use multivariate testing when you just want to improve your results. Say that sales page version 2 (with its new headline, font, image and special bonus) increases sales by 25%, we cannot pinpoint exactly why this is. However if the company needs the extra sales as a priority, this is obviously more important than knowing why turnover has increased.
The Lady Gaga multivariate model is therefore a short-term tactic, and the Madonna split testing model a long- term growth strategy.
Neither Madonna or Lady Gaga is inherently a better performer than the other - it all depends on what you want. We can say the same about split or multivariate testing - it all depends on what you want to achieve with your sales page. The next step is, of course, to decide exactly what changes to test in your sales page.

Madonna - Queen of Reinvention

Today, there are many celebrities who constantly reinvent themselves. Two good examples would be Courtney Love and of course, Madonna. Madonna has actually spent her career reinventing herself. She has always been able to find innovative ways of reinventing both her musical stylings and fashion that cannot be compared to anyone else in the industry.
In 1985, she can be seen with armful of bracelets made with rubber, torn shirts, crucifixes, lacy bras, tights and a lot more. After she signed her first singles deal, she was able to take the tattered look mainstream.
In 1990, Jean-Paul Gaultier the French designer, was the one who designed her costume for her Blond Ambition World Tour. Madonna's look when she wore her iconic cone bustier that Gaultier designed is still her most memorable.
In 1991, she was even able to channel Marilyn Monroe at the Oscar's with her Bob Mackie dress which was beaded white strapless and body-hugging gown with fur ang formal gloves. She even wore some $20 million worth of diamonds.
Madonna was also able to transform herself into Eva Peron when she played that role in a movie in 1996. She was seen wearing a glamorous Christian Dior dress with red lipstick, her bleached hair pulled back in a knot. She was also able to transform into a geisha and a cowboy. When she became a mother, she was also able to dress herself as a mother. However, as Madonna released her recent albums, she was successfully able to transform herself into a fashionable icon again.
Like Madonna, if you also want to reinvent your life, here are some tips that Madonna has. First, remember that the clothes you wear are one of the most glaring aspects of your lifestyle and personality, so changing them can reinvent your personality.
If you want to reinvent your wardrobe, look first at your lifestyle. Consider your work, for instance. Do you have a 9 to 5 job? Perhaps corporate clothes are a must in your wardrobe. In the same way, casual clothes would fit in if you are a student.
Take out the clutter. Get rid of clothes and accessories you do not need or no longer fits you.
Imagine the person you want to be. From this you can prepare a list of necessary clothes and accessory for your new lifestyle. After that, you can go shopping for the things you need for the new you.
Do not be scared to try new things and looks. You can get ideas on how to go about it from movies, magazines, TV shows, and various media. You can also add a spice of your own personality.
There are some good looks you can try. For example, there is the vintage look which would look good on just about every one. Think of Siena Miller and Kate Moss. Get vintage shoes, clothes, and handbags from thrift stores in your area.
Other looks you can try are Boho Chic which reminds you of Kate Hudson, and the classic look which was popularized by Jackie Onassis.

Madonna Estate Winery

A long and rich history greet anyone who learns about Madonna Estate Winery. Since 1922 the Bartolucci family has been producing wine in the Carneros region of California, which falls approximately 45 miles north of the San Francisco Golden Gate bridge. Yes, Carneros and not Paso Robles, many people are confused by the now famous Pink/White Madonna Hotel. The two businesses are not related!
Although the family tradition of winemaking starts in Italy and extends to previously held property in Carneros, the most important history of the family and the winery have come since 1977 when the current vineyard and winery site was purchased. An interesting point on the Carneros American Viniculture Area, it is perhaps the only AVA in the United States that was created in the French model of terrior and not the American model of ownership or political connection.
Andrea "Buck" is the current patriarch of the family and oversees current winery production from the vineyard all the way through winemaking. As the third oldest winemaking family in Northern California they have a peculiar appreciation for the need to use sustainable farming practices. Andrea believes that organic farming is much more then not using chemicals, the goal of Madonna Winery is to leave their soil better each year then it was the year before. As you might imagine this is an especially difficult task given that crop rotation is clearly impossible with grapes, so they must allow natural ground cover to spread between the vines when ever possible.
In addition to running an organic vineyard, Andrea uses dry farming techniques. Dry farming, for those who are not familiar, means that the vineyard is never watered. This is only possible where there is some sort of water table that the plant roots can access, this table is often hundreds of feet below the surface. The end result of these difficult growing conditions is that the vines produce less fruit, but the fruit that is produced tends to have more intense flavors. Especially when combined with the rather unique soil types found in the vineyard, Haire and Diablo. These soil types traditionally also reduce fruit size, so you can imagine that the vines are constantly stressed and producing incredibly small amounts of wine per vine.
If you're interested in trying wine from this historic winemaking family and wine region, try their Chardonnay or Pinot Noir which were the original reason for starting this vineyard.

Gloria Trevi - The Madonna of Mexico

Born in 1970, Gloria Trevino or popularly known as Gloria Trevi, is a famous pop rock singer in Mexico. She has a very controversial life that gained her the nickname the "Madonna of Mexico."
Born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, a place surrounded by poverty in violence, Trevi came from a poor family. Deprived of money and food, Trevi struggled to survive during her younger years. At an early age, she dreamed of becoming an entertainer. She learned poetry at a very young age of five and took ballet and piano lessons as well.
When she was 10 years old her parents divorced. At the age of 20, she left Nuevo Leon and moved to Mexico City where she sang and danced on the streets to earn money. To augment her income, she also taught ballet lessons and even worked in a taco stand.
It was in Mexico City that Trevi met Sergio Andrade, a manager who is allegedly a slave master and child molester. In 1989, Trevi released her first album titled "Y Que Hago Aqui?" (But What am I Doing Here?). Her second album which included the song "Dr. Siquiatra" (Dr. Psychiatrist), became an instant hit and made her famous.
Trevi became even more popular for challenging the machismo idea in Mexico. She has broken social standards and was known to take feminist stand point in her songs. She too became known to be the entertainer that explored sexuality that most Mexican singers in the past have not done before.
There was even a time during Trevi's performance where would ask her male audiences to come up to the stage so she could undress them. Despite all these, Trevi even gained more popularity among Mexicans and Latin Americans. Her fans would even imitate the way she dressed.

Madonna - One of the Most Successful Female Artists

It is almost hard to believe that Madonna is over 50 years old. As we still remember this new eccentric new singer in the early 1980's with strange new looks and video clips like none other female singer had done before her.
I am sure some people even thought that the name Madonna was a completely fabricated name to sound more showbiz. However, Madonna is the real first name of Madonna Ciccone born to an Italian father and a French Canadian mother whose first name was also Madonna.
Madonna's mother died when she was only 5 years old and the singer has admitted during several interviews that her mother's death affected her deeply and was the reason of some of her behaviors and overall personality.
She felt abandoned and weak and was determined to be strong. She said that this was the drive of her success as one of the most successful singer of all times.
Madonna is the top-selling rock music female with over 300 million records sold worldwide and 64 million albums in the United States. She is the second 2nd best female overall record selling of the 20th century only after Barbara Streisand.
During the 1980's and the first half of the 1990's no other female singers could even remotely reach the kind of success, fame and popularity that Madonna had reached.
Madonna who has revealed herself that she had been influenced by Marilyn Monroe, which was evident in the music video "Material Girl", is definitely bearing some kind or resemblance with her down to the neck blond hair, fair skin and red lips.
Curiously the loss of her mother at a very young age was also a similitude between Madonna and Monroe having to grow up without a mother.
Like Monroe, Madonna has also found herself in the middle of several controversies because of her provoking videos and films. In the end, however, Madonna has always come out victorious, continuing to sell albums by the millions.
Even though Madonna has been somewhat quieter in recent years, she is far from retired and has recorded her third live album earlier this year and has a film project as a director of a movie about the affair of King Edward VII and Wallis Simpson.
Yes, beside her eccentricity and a few scandals that have sparkle her career, Madonna is also a talented artist who can sing, dance, act and direct films. All with obvious talent and ease.

Madonna - The Queen of Pop Music

On August 16, 1958, Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone, or popularly known as Madonna, was born in Bay City, Michigan. Regarded as the "Queen of Popular Music," she has a long career marked by not only success but controversy as well.
Madonna was raised in devout Catholic and Italian American family. When she was still a child, her mother died because of cancer. At an early age, Madonna showed interest in the performing arts when she took up piano and ballet and was an active participant in various artistic activities in her school.
During her college years, Madonna attended the University of Michigan but only stayed for two years. After 24 months, she moved to Corona, Queens for her quest to pursue her dreams of being a professional dancer and actress.
Madonna's first single titled "Everybody" was released without her photograph on the jacket hence most people believed that she is a black person. However, thanks to MTV, her listeners were able to know who the real Madonna is. Her recording label markets her image as a singer who is playful with a combination of pop and puck culture.
In 1983, Madonna's break finally came. She released her self-titled album and her song "Holiday" made it on the top list of music charts around the globe. Her other songs "Lucky Star," "Everybody," "Borderline," and "Burning Up" were all instant hits. Her album was a huge success that paved way to Madonna's international stardom.
Over the years, Madonna continues to produce international hit songs such as "Like a Virgin," "Papa Don't Preach," and "Don't Cry for Me Argentina," She is still active in her singing career and has been listed by the Guinness World of Records as the most successful female recording artist of all time. Indeed, a person who gave pride to American flags, Madonna has every right to receive the title "Queen of Pop Music."

What Madonna Has in Common With Affiliate Marketing

Before I do allow me to share with you all a little bit of back ground on Madonna. We all know her to be a dancer, impresario, producer, singer, actress, entertainer and artist. For her money comes second and creation comes first. Always has and always will. What is less well known is the fact she is a successful business woman. So successful she has had senior professors at Harvard Business School beat a path to her door to learn the secret of how she was able to sell 1,500,000 copies of a $50 book in a matter of days.
Madonna is also a successful publisher, music mogul, TV Executive, merchandising magnate and Film Producer. She is one of the richest women on the planet and every inch the self made tycoon. She's been able to achieve all this and later this year she will celebrate her 49th birthday. Absolutely inspirational considering she started as a girl, barely 17, arriving in New York to study dancing with only a fistful of dollars and some big, massive dreams.
Now lets go back in time to the late 70's. Some of you will remember a big European disco hit called 'Born to be Alive' by Patrick Hernandez. Well that song grossed over 25 million dollars and made a Patrick Hernandez a major Disco Star. Well Patrick and also his two managers Belgian TV producers Jean Van Liew and Jean Claude Pellerin arrived in New York looking for dancers who could sing to be back up for Patrick as his voice wasn't that strong.
Madonna attended those auditions and ended up being chosen as the one from 1500 other hopefuls. Madonna merely 20 years old then found herself in May 1979 moving out of an cockroach invested apartment she shared with another dancer in Greenwich Village onto a plane headed for Paris. She borrowed $15 bucks from a dancer friend and left with big dreams of coming back to New York a huge success.
Well as is the case in most good stories, our heroine had some challenges, as we all do when building our own businesses and things did not turn out as Madonna had hoped. Patrick, Jean and Jean Claude were far more interested in partying and reaping their rewards of their success rather then getting on with their next project. After only a couple of months it became clear to Madonna that the production was not moving quickly enough for her, so she decided to leave, and decided she wanted to sing and told Patrick before she flew home in July,'Success is yours today, but it will be mine tomorrow'.
Now think about that for a moment. 'What an attitude!
What fascinates me about this story is a few things. The first being that Madonna who was only twenty years old at the time had the guts to leave. The courage to cast her disappointment aside and instead be inspired by Patricks success. She could have as most people say, Oh this is too hard, I'm never going to make it, who am I kidding, I'll never be as good as so and so and throw in the towel at the very first hurdle - not Madonna.
Madonna possessed the ability to see time differently from most people. I believe this is key to her success and also key to succeeding with your MLM business. Like Madonna it is key to be able to see beyond your current circumstances and instead see yourself in the future, where you want to be.
Madonna also had an unbreakable sense of her own destiny. She never wanted to be like most people (sound familiar) and even when she was living on popcorn and butterscotch sundaes she would tell people she was going to be somebody one day. If you add to this the ability she had to be inspired by the successes of others and do the same it will give you the emotional strength, the emotional intelligence to bounce back from countless disappointment and rejection to get where you want to go as well.
Our Home Based industry has a lot in common with the Entertainment industry. We have our superstars in our businesses too. Sometimes it can be tough to realize that every successful person started some place less than where they are today. In fact we all started at ground zero and success, especially outstanding financial success takes time, years and years even like it did for Madonna. So when you see someone qualify for the next level in your company or when you see someone breaking records. Be inspired. Be empowered. If they can, you can. Every disappointment, every challenge Madonna faced and over came helped give her the skills she needed to be where she is now. It's no different with us.
So next time you see excellence in action why not allow that to inspire you too? Why not allow it to empower you to do the same, to carve out your own unique place in this world with your business. Why not embrace the same attitude as Madonna and look your superstars in this business square in the eye and say with conviction and pride, 'Success is yours today but it will be mine tomorrow'.
Why not? The decision is yours. And myself I choose to be inspired every time.

9 Anti Aging Beauty Tips Inspired by Madonna

Madonna is set to launch a new album and tour at the age of fifty. Always one to break the rules, she doesn't look or act like one might expect a fifty-year-old woman to. Her energy level is phenomenal. She looks thirty. In fact her body is leaner and fitter than most women half her age.
How does she look so young? Can any older woman look as good as she does?
These are the anti aging tips I've gleaned from the write ups about Madonna.
1. Stay out of the sun as far as possible. Sunlight ages you before your time. Use sunblock all the time if you are outdoors. Better yet, stay indoors to avoid the sun completely as much as possible.
2. Stop using foundation and powder as they make you look older. For that matter, wear as little makeup as possible. Heavy makeup makes a woman look older.
3. If you need to hide dark circles under the eye or blemishes, use as little concealer as possible.
4. Don't bother with the sultry kohl rimmed eyed look as that adds years to your appearance. Save the dramatic smoky eye look for young girls who want to look grown up. To highlight your eyes, instead of using black eyeliner and dark eyeshadow, use false eyelashes to make eyes bigger.
5. Go organic. Eat organic food as far as possible. If you must, grow your own organic fruit and vegetables and buy the rest from an organic food store.
6. Stay away from sauces and preservatives.
7. Exercise for 2 hours everyday.
8. Take a days break from your workout routine every week. Exercise 6 days a week. Then rest.
9. Eat lots of fruit and vegetables and soya and beansprouts. Stick to a macrobiotic diet.

Erotica is the number 1 collectible picture disc of all the releases. One copy sold on ebay in 2007 for $7100. A fan in the Uk paid £5000 for a copy.
This picture disc was withdrawn from sale because the artwork showed Madonna sucking Naomi Campbell's toe around the same time the duchess of york was photographed topless in the newspapers doing the same thing while having an affair. Due to the publicity the record company decided to withdraw the picture disc from sale and destroy them making it very rare. It's rumored there are a couple of hundred in circulation mostly in the hands of collectors. A bootleg version is also available but nowhere near as valuable.
According to Madonnaunderground.com there are three main differences between the original and the bootleg these are:
1) The real "Erotica" picture disc carries a gold backing card, with the official "Madonna/Erotica" logo in the top-left corner. The bootleg disc is missing this backing card.
2) The real "Erotica" picture disc has a white rectangular box containing its catalog # directly below the Maverick logo on the vinyl itself. The bootleg disc is missing this box.
3) The real "Erotica" picture disc has the words "Orlake W0138TP" sketched on the run-out groove of the vinyl itself, on the inner loop. The bootleg disc is missing this writing.
To achieve the best price, picture discs need to be in mint or excellent condition (new or unplayed is even better). Some discs have stickers, or plinths included to stand your record on.If these are still included and in good condition all the better.
It's not just picture discs that are collectible a lot of other records and CD's are too, especially promotional copies, limited editions, white labels, different artwork and versions from other countries.
One of the best places to buy these picture discs as well as other collectibles is eBay. I have been seriously collecting for about 2 years and most of my collection has been purchased from here. There are also a few shops that specialize in Madonna collectibles.
If you have a record collection have a look through you just might have some hidden gems.

Madonna-Whore Complex

The Madonna/Whore complex is a term developed by Sigmund Freud through his clinical work with patients. Specifically he noticed the difficulty some men had to the point of having sexual relations with their wife, because they had differentiated women into various identities. One being the virtuous Madonna figure as the protector of social virtue who deplored sexuality, and the figure of the whore lacking morality and driven by sexual desire. These men were aroused by prostitutes and mistresses but not their wife.
Freud noted the madonna/whore complex as phenomena with his clinical patients to the extent some men lacked the ability to be sexually aroused or have sexual relations with their wife.
In general the Madonna/Whore complex is thought to be a problem for men; yet women also compartmentalize women into different categories. The Madonna figure as the protector of social virtue; this pure innocent figure stands in sharp contrast to the figure of the whore. As a result women are forced to identify with one or the other. Unfortunately to some degree most individuals carry around this conceptual dichotomy and men in particular have some idea in their head that the type of woman they have a relationship with is not the kind of woman who is highly sexual. This factor is displayed explicitly when you see politicians who promote social morality having affairs with women they believe possesses something their wife lacks. Perhaps, this is because they made their wife purely a mother (Madonna figure) and neglected the depth of her feminine sexuality.
It's essential to alleviate this grouping, labeling, and accept the extreme sexual potential in all women, in all types of relationships. It's essential to get over the Madonna/Whore complex.
Most women, in fact, have likely spent some time cultivating one role or the other which they now associate with their identity. Women fear doing something that would compromise this identity. This is a real fear, and many women have seen other women ostracized from social groups, or socially stigmatized for crossing social accepted sexual norms. This burden weighs heavily on the sexual relationship of both partners.
Most women have developed the notion that crossing these boundaries and initiating sexual promiscuity to be a serious threat and could harm the very essence of their identity.
In general the Madonna/Whore complex for men affects the way they interact with women. Most individuals have some conception in their head of the type of woman they want in a relationship. It's healthy to know what you want in a relationship, but although women are highly sexual, this will only be cultivated in a relationship if both partners are fully accepting of it. Otherwise the false dichotomy creates internal conflict.
It's essential to get over the Madonna/Whore complex and recognize the complex social, cultural, biological, and personal factors that shape sexuality. Understand that these factors are fluid and change or over time. Notice if you have a problem with it, and get it handled.
Many women, for example, are aware that other women have been ostracized or socially stigmatized for being sexual. Many women then develop the notion that crossing boundaries, social norms, or initiating sex could be detrimental their social status or personal identity. Paradoxically, many women are also taught they can manipulate or control men with their sexuality. But this is still linking sexuality to identity in way that's essentially counterproductive.
This is interrelated, because the idea only some women are highly sexual makes a women's sexuality a type of commodity.
Many men carry some degree of this complex around with them. Even the most open-minded individuals, if you pay attention inside, might notice a residue of this in your life. It's essential, however, to get over this dichotomy if you really want to take things to the next level.

You should understand that all women have both sides to them. Women are both highly sexual and also want to be respected as smart, sophisticated, professional human beings in their daily life. These same women, however, want a part of their personal life open to exercise an active adventurous sex-life. Far more open and adventurous then many are willing to reveal, because again, to do so could threaten their sense of self.
For women it's important to maintain respect in their professional daily life. However the vast majority of women also want the other side of things. They want to experience pleasure and exciting sex and will try all the same things most men want. The problem is that most men think the kind of woman you settle down with in a relationship does not have a highly sexual side of them. The kind of women you have fun passionate sex with is the same you can have a long loving relationship with.
Collapsing the Madonna/Whore complex can be fairly unsettling for some men who are uncomfortable because it challenges their whole socially contrived perception of women. But it's essential to do this and go beyond the socially conditioned perception of women. Men need to do this so they can help guide women through this dichotomy. Many women have actually been, to various extents, traumatized. This might seem like a strong word, but consider that even through school most women witnessed a situation, where a female did something sexual, or there was a rumor started, and as a result this person was ostracized from their peer group or became a social pariah.
They were often ridiculed by everyone around them. Even if this happens sporadically it leaves an indelible mark in the subconscious mind of all women that sexual promiscuity can threaten the core of their identity and social status. In extreme cases you can find situations where girls have taken their lives over these issues. They were teased and tormented simply for being sexual. Often this stress and tension carries on in the subconscious adult life of women who feel fear about their sexuality and specifically expressing their sexuality because the consequences of being socially ostracized, losing friends, and most importantly losing the respect of the people they love. This can create a very intense internal tension in women.
Women are conditioned to believe if they want a relationship with a quality guy, or want to have a strong committed relationship they need to act in a certain way which often generally entails repressing the deeply sexual aspects of their desire. A lot of women choose the good girl approach if they want to be respected, they play a role, and downplay their sexual side.
It's important for men to take the lead so women can begin to free this part of their sexuality without taking responsibility; though women can and should cultivate a more healthy comfortable internal relationship with their desire and sexuality. The most essential factor is their understanding that sexual desire will not compromise the love and respect of their partner. Generally, this needs to be conveyed over time.
An extreme example of the Madonna/Whore complex in the minds of women plays out with things like rape fantasies in literature. Obviously no woman wants to be raped. The rape fantasy, though, has remained popular in literature, especially in romance novels over the years. You see these novels become more popular in sexually repressive eras such as the Victorian era. The rape fantasy allows women to retain that level of social virtue where they are simultaneously the object of desire and the protector of social virtue. By virtue of being non-consensual the rape fantasy removes culpability and responsibility from the woman.
She's not an active participant in the situation and therefore does not bear the responsibility. Again, no woman wants to be raped, but what men can learn from this is the importance of leading the interaction and demonstrating confidence. Generally, women feel the burden of social pressure and do not want to take responsibility for the act or initiating, because she's worried about losing the respect of the man in her life. Because of social conditioning in our culture it tends to fall on the shoulders of men to lead so that women do not have to take responsibility.
